Happy Goon merges physical and digital media in a wonderful way by using modern augmented reality technology to make greeting cards come to life.

I branded Happy Goon with their cutesy logo, designed and built their eCommerce website happygoon.com on a wordpress/woocommerce back end, with custom code to add the functionality required. As well as designing the UI for their app.

I did the product/packaging design for their greeting cards as well as designed, animated and implemented the augmented reality greeting cards themselves.

This was an all inclusive project covering all aspects of design and development, print, digital, web and heavily implementing new technology and a medium that many designers are unfamiliar with.

Augmented reality itself presents a unique challenge as the experiences I made include both the physical object AND the digital experience. Not just one or the other.
